Hair in the wind
I shot a few portraits of a friend. We wanted to get some movement in the hair. Since I do not own a fan or hairdryer, she had to become quite adept at throwing her hair up in the air. I think it worked to create dynamics in the image.
These are single light portraits using a small 2′x3′ softbox. Shooting a person with glasses can be challenging to find angles without reflections but we found a few that were reflection-free so here they are.
Equipment: Canon DSLR 5D Mk II, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS lens, RAW conversion using Lightroom 4.1
