How incredible, the distant hills are like shimmering blue waves, and all that lush jungle just amazing. the line cut through the trees leaves me feeling a little sad though. Why is it that when we bring advances we always seem to destroy some nature. How many trees must have been felled for that power line….
Great photo though
Thanx greenmackenzie for your deep thoughts about the image! Your words perfectly sum up what caught my eye in the first place!
That’s a beautiful shot! Makes me want to be there (as do all shots of mountains.) 🙂

Thanx very much. This stretch is located North of the St. Lawrence river between Trois-Rivieres and Québec City.
stunning! you took the pic from a helicopter? or someone’s top-floored balcony?
Thanx very much! I took the picture from the back seat of a four-seater single engine prop aircraft, a Cessna 172.
is that a commercial flight? or a sightseeing small plane for rental?
I rented a plane with some pilot friends for a sightseeing trip.
