The new king of the Manhattan skyline

I just came back from a trip to New York City during which we took an evening stroll in Lower Manhattan to see the new One World Trade Center (formerly known as the Freedom Tower) which now dominates the Manhattan skyline with its 104 floors and its tip towering at 546.2 m. We also visited the new PATH train station that runs underneath the World Trade Center complex.

Then we found our way to Brooklyn to cross on foot the famous Bridge to Manhattan which offers superb views of the skyline.

Equipment: Canon DSLR 5D Mk II, Canon EF 25-105mm f/4L IS lens, RAW conversion using Lightroom 4.1
