Weekly Photo Challenge: ”Kiss”
https://sph3re.wordpress.com/2013/02/15/weekly-photo-challenge-kiss/
Painting of Russian artist Dmitry Vrubel depicting former leaders Leonid Brezhnev of the USSR and Erich Honecker of the GDR kissing. It can be seen at Berlin’s East Side Gallery, an outdoor exhibition space where artists have produced murals on a remaining section of the Berlin Wall. Although it has been repainted by the artist in 2009, it has unfortunately been defaced since by graffiti.
That’s awesome!
Thanx Turkeywithstuffin! I guess I am not much of a romantic as this is what came to mind when I saw this week’s theme…
Now, that made me laugh.
I am glad it gave you a chuckle! I find it pretty funny myself. Thanx Candy for the visit!
Haha, the classic, of course! Great one. How did you linke Berlin?
`Like ` … stupid German auto-correct š
I love Berlin. I have been up and down Germany a few times and Berlin is the city I prefer. It is so vibrant and artsy. Art is everywhere! Thanx lomoherz for the visit!
Funny, I just recommended Berlin to an artist friend because of those very reasons š
Great recommendation, no doubt! Berlin feels quite different than other large German cities because of the omnipresence of art.
Agreed! How come you know my country so well? š
Well…This a great post!!! Good point!!! I love the idea!
Thanx ilargia!
